Mom Dating
I signed up for an app called Peanut. It’s mom dating. Like hey, I’m a mom, and you're a mom let’s be friends.
I saw an article about it, and I was curious. I didn’t know how it worked at first, but basically, you swipe up, and you wave at a mom and if you swipe down you NEXT that mom. So, the first few times I swiped up not realizing I was waving, and then I freaked out because I couldn’t undo the wave and was like "Oh My Gosh what am I going to say?!" So it turns out they only see your wave if they wave back. So basically I was turned down and didn’t get a wave back. BURN. A few days later though I got a little message and it was pretty exciting!
It’s a neat concept, and I'm curious if it'll work. Doing life with other moms makes life more fun and just a little better. I met a mom that I connected with on the app this past Monday! We went to a mom's night out function, and it was fun. We shared stories over chips and salsa, and we'll see where this little app will take us.
